I am just too fricking lazy.  Anyways, here's a little motivational poster from Ribby influencing me to get off Animal Crossing long enough to update.  I do promise to have more comics, and the end of Chapter 3 (who does Ribby meet at the station?  Dun dun duuuun!) in the next few weeks.

In other news, I'll be at Anime Boston this May, and I'll be handing out cards plugging MiryoMono.

November 20, 2005

If you read this little explanation, you'll see as to why extenuating circumstances kept me from updating MiryoMono (that, and I was lazy, forgive me.)  Anyways, I've re-built my font collection and picked up one of the Computone books from How to Draw Manga, which I might implement in a future chapter.

August 20,2005

Omataseshimaimashita! My computer problems have been fixed and I've been spending the last few weeks trying to piece things back together.  I lost a LOT of the MiryoMono related story ideas and such I did, which isn't bad.  (What's really bad is that I lost a LOT of the stuff I wrote for the web site I used to do reviews for.)  I've been trying to find time for drawing between job searching, interviews and MapleStory and hopefully I should have the rest of the chapter up by the end of September.

Now as for an actual job...

August 3, 2005

My computer is having major issues, and it's currently offline. Therefore, there has to be ANOTHER unfortunate unnanounced vacation for MiryoMono as I cross my fingers and hope that everything can be saved (yep, one of THOSE problems.)

July 30, 2005

I'm probably going to have a LOT more time to spend on MiryoMono now.  Yep, if you read my LiveJournal, I was let go from my latest place of work yesterday, which leaves me with a bit of a dillemma as to where to go next.  I can handle it, though.

However, this update is for a joyous occassion: I've received my first fanart!  Thank you very much, Rikki.  You'll see it on the Omake page.

July 24, 2005

Well, it's a little later than I promised but here's a new batch of MiryoMono for your enjoyment.

July 13, 2005

Arrgh!  There's a lot on my plate this month.  New comic next Wednesday...I hope.

July 4, 2005

Happy Fourth to all you readers in America.  My (brief) break was a bit longer than I would've liked, but I'm still getting used to a new job and all.

By the way, if you run into a Ribby on the Bera server of MapleStory (Maple Global,) say "Gokigenyou" and I'll give you a present!

June 18, 2005

HOEEEH! I realized that I had left 3 pages (an entire week!) out of File 02.  Everything is now corrected, which gives me a little extra time to work on File 03.

I extend my serious apologies to anyone who wondered just what the hell the last few pages were about.

 June 10, 2005

There's going to be a brief break (maybe 1 week) before the third chapter makes its debut.  It's partly because I've been busy with work (read: playing MapleStory) but I'm also going to be switching to a new job come Monday, which will give me more free time.

Also, any suggestions on what I should do about a Web counter would be greatly appreciated.  I'd like to make a custom one, but then again it'd probably be much easier to register for a free one.

Gokigenyou!

May 6, 2005

Awesome!  The second part is finished, and like I said, no toning this time around.  It's a little too time consuming.

If you were at Anime Boston 2005 this past weekend, chances are I probably saw you and/or got to take a picture of you.  I put up a list of all the photos I took, organized by series.  I usually just take pictures of series that I know, which is why there's over 20 Final Fantasy pictures compared to the one Naruto picture (although it seems that there were cosplayers of those series in equally huge numbers.)  If the site doesn't load, it means that Geosh*ties is being a dumbass, so try again an hour later.

I'm not sure about attending any other conventions this year, although Bakuretsu Con sounds VERY tempting as it's in my old college town.

April 27, 2005

The second part is almost completely inked.  So for now enjoy the first part of File 02.  Gokigenyou.

April 25, 2005

The first atogaki is up but you probably may have noticed that already.  I'm not going to make any guarantees about the next part coming on Wednesday because I have an interview AND I need to finish my AniBos costume tomorrow (on my day off) so if there is an update on Wednesday it's going to be later on in the day.

April 21, 2005

The next page will most likely show up next Wednesday, although with a little luck it could come up earlier.  I've been very busy with my AniBos costume and with work so I haven't had much time to devote to MiryoMono (but on the bright side, I'm almost done inking.)

April 12, 2005

Progress on File 02 is going rather slowly (I've become a closer at work which means I've got more hours.)  Right now the inking process has started but in the interests of time I think I'm going to forego the heavy toning that was in File 01.

Other than that, I'm going to be at Anime Boston at the end of the month.  Look for a Tomo Takino (from Azumanga Daioh) cosplayer, with dark tortoiseshell mod glasses handing out business cards, snapping pictures, and blushing bright red at various cosplayers.

March 23, 2005

I've recovered enough from a NyQuil induced haze to add the forum.  Hopefully once the story begins to take steam there will be room for discussion.  (And Roger is actually happy in that picture.)

By the way, File 01 is 16 pages.  File 02 is being worked on as we speak (preliminary pencils are almost done) and will clock in at about 25-30 pages (File 01 was drawn back in '03 before my senior year of college started.)  I'll probably think about a different updating schedule then (Five days a week?)

For now, it's gokigenyou and good night.

March 22, 2005

There were some pictures I did in oekaki that I forgot to add to the omake section, so enjoy some computer-drawn fanart (and marvel that I can actually DRAW on the compy.)

March 16, 2005

After comicgenesis's hiccup this weekend, the update schedule is going to change next week instead of this, justtoletyaknow ^_^

Update: A big "39" to Dr. Xadium for the code on a scrollbar.

March 13, 2005

I've got a tag board up now (see?) but as for an actual forum I don't know quite yet.  Roger is getting rather peeved at being a placeholder as it is.
Anyone know how to put a scroll button in this cell?  (Scroll buttons, scroll buttons, one two one two...)
Gokigenyou,
Bucket

March 12, 2005

Some parts of the site don't work yet, so don't be alarmed if you're 404ed.  Official opening is March 15...be prepared!
